Its main use is as a potting compound by immersing electrical components housed in this gel you can boost the ingress protection rating of an enclosure or junction box to IP68, completely safe to be fully submerged in water. Ideal for swimming pools, ponds or outdoor lighting. It works by mixing two compounds together to form a transparent silicone gel that will insulate electrical components up to 1kV.
